Moving premises (22nd October) – please read before you order!
Big announcement for you – sorry we’ve been so quiet, but we’ve been busy working on a big project for a while and now it is all official, it is time to let you know all about it. For some time, we have been really struggling with lack of space and so we’re moving to much larger premises. This will be a big move as it involves all our stock, business equipment and indeed requires a house move, too. Our stock is being moved first and brought back last, so we won’t be able to access it from Saturday (22nd October) and therefore we will be unable to process any orders from that point onwards for the duration of the move. We will also have no internet connection or phone lines for the week from Monday 24th to at least Sunday 30th October. When we start up again from our new premises, we hope to be fully operational on Wednesday 2nd November, there will be a new phone number, but callers to the old number will hear a message telling you the new number to dial – however, that message won’t go live until Monday 31st October.
During that time, you can still place orders and e-mail us, but we will not be able to access or deal with those orders or e-mails until 2nd November, when we will endeavour to spend the rest of that week catching up with everything and getting your orders posted out to you! We realise that this will be inconvenient, but we chose the October half-term week for our move as it tends to be a little quieter than usual and it is far enough away from the main Christmas rush period to not get in the way of that – and the additional space will help to make that manic few weeks much easier to cope with this year and beyond.
Thank you for your patience with this – we will of course, let you know as soon as we are up and running again! This will be the first time we’ve shut down in the 14+ years we have been running the Lodge but it is something we know we needed to do as we were rapidly running out of space and this move will resolve that problem once and for all!
