This retired limited edition Swarovski Christmas ornament was the first in the series of familiar stars/snowflakes issued annually. The earliest ones, including this one were not part of the Silver Crystal range, but were issued by either Giftware Suite or Crystal Colours. This ornament has 8 points and has 1991 etched on the central stone. The USA version of this ornament has a smooth, silver coloured metal hanger, and the box was square.  Please note that prior to 1995, none of the Christmas ornaments are marked with the swan logo as only the Silver Crystal range bore the logo – and not their other lines.
