This retired and very rare mini zoo set comprises one each of the following: mini chick, mini duck, mini mouse, mini owl, mini rabbit and mini sparrow. The items were packed in one box, rather than individually boxed, and because of the very limited period this was available, all the items must have the old “SC” block trademark.

Interestingly, while this set is attributed as being a “Team” design, all 6 of the mini animals were designed by Max Schreck and therefore here at The Crystal Lodge, we tend to refer to the mini zoo as being one of his designs!

Additionally, not only is the presence of the box very important, but it is imperative that the label is also present, as there are several boxes which are the same shape and size and have identical foam inserts, so if you want a genuine mini zoo, you must make sure the label is present, and also check the logos of each individual piece of crystal. If label isn’t present, the chances are that the box did not originally contain a mini zoo, as the party set and candleholder 131 (set) boxes have similar foam inserts.
